... how to use Final Cut Express. In the process of editing we had to do two fairly major things to the text. The main one was synchronizing the visual and audio texts so that they were in time. Originally after uploading the scenes to the computer the sound was 1 second ahead of the visual text. This took a little while to work out but in the end discovered that you can look the visual and audio sequences individually of each other. The other major and in some ways more vital thing I learned to do with Final Cut Express was to actually cut and shorten the sequences and move them around so that they can be placed the correct order in the sequence. While doing this we discovered that you can put the sequences on different lines which meant that we could accurately cut sequence to place another in the middle of it.
... how to use the camera. I know how to use the camera in terms of recording, stopping, pausing and play back. Any additional functions that may be found through the menu I haven't learnt to use yet. In terms of using the camera and tripod I can pan, track, use the zoom function, point of view shot, tilting and using the tripod and handheld to give high angle and low angle shots.
