Risk Assessment

We have looked at the different risks of our filming and understand the dangers involved along with the saftey of our actors and oursleves.
We have obtained permssion for James Menhinick for use of farm equipment with his permission and in some cases, his supervision and direction.

Transportation between locations:
The methods of transportation include a car, quadbike and forklift.
The car and forklift will be driven by qualified and responsible adults.
The quadbike is not registered with the DVLA to be driven on public roads except in the case of crossing a road to access one side of a property from another. To get round this we will use private farm tracks to access our locations. The issue as regards the quadbike is the ditches that skirt the farm tracks.

On location during filming, issues that may arise for actors are:
Injury or falling ill. Falling or tripping is the most likely source of injury during our filming process due to the location.
For both of these possible problems the way of dealing with them is to assess the injury by on site first aider. If injury needs treating locally (ice pack, cold water style treatment) then they will be taken back to James Menhinick's residence either by car or quadbike.

However, there is and added risk during the filming for crew due to the opening shot which is being filmed from an elevated and movable platform (forklift) which presents a falling hazard.

All members of crew will have a phone on them at all times and there will always be at least one person on location capable of driving at least the quadbike.
